• Records 7K oversampled 4K 60p video with suppressed moiré and jaggies by enabling full pixel readout without pixel binning during full-frame recording. Additionally, with the ability to shoot up to 4K 120p, you can create slow-motion videos up to 5x the speed in-camera.
• Features Sony's unique 4-axis multi-angle LCD monitor. It combines the convenience of a side-opening vari-angle LCD monitor and a tilt LCD monitor, allowing you to freely adjust the angle for easy viewing in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Furthermore, the inclusion of two USB Type-C® terminals compatible with USB PD (Power Delivery) enhances expandability.
• Covers almost the entire image sensor area (approx. 94%) with a high density of 759 phase-detection AF points. The high-speed data processing by the new image processing engine BIONZ XR2 and optimized AF algorithms analyze subject movement in real-time, achieving accurate focus even in scenes that were previously difficult, such as small subjects, night scenes, and portraits where focus tends to fall on the background. The high-density focal-plane phase-detection AF system delivers excellent subject tracking performance across the entire frame.
• For still images and videos, it supports [Human], [Animal], [Bird], [Insect], [Vehicle/Train], and [Airplane], enabling recognition of a wider range of subjects. Additionally, the new [Auto] mode allows the camera to automatically recognize subjects.
• The image stabilization system has evolved with a high-precision image stabilization unit, gyro sensor, and optimized algorithms. The detected shake is precisely controlled and corrected by the image stabilization unit. It offers up to 7.5 stops of image stabilization in the center and up to 6.5 stops at the periphery, proving effective for handheld shooting with slow shutter speeds in dimly lit interiors or night scenes where you want to avoid increasing ISO sensitivity.
• Equipped with a high-definition approximately 3.68 million dot Quad-VGA OLED electronic viewfinder. The high resolution and improved image quality displayed in the electronic viewfinder make it easier to check focus. It also achieves high dust and fog resistance, enabling comfortable viewfinder shooting in various environments.
