• Apo-chromatic design thoroughly eliminates axial chromatic aberration and other aberrations, while pursuing ultimate performance in resolution and contrast reproduction.
• The 9-group, 11-element lens incorporates 5 elements of anomalous dispersion glass and 2 double-sided aspherical lenses, along with a floating mechanism.
• Features 12 aperture blades. A special shape is employed so that the aperture becomes circular not only at maximum aperture but also at F2.8, F5.6, and F16. This allows for creative compositions utilizing the bokeh of point light sources.
• Designed for use with rangefinder-coupled digital and film cameras. Equipped with a high-precision rangefinder coupling mechanism and a silky smooth operating feel thanks to the all-metal helicoid ring.
• Can be mounted on other mirrorless cameras via a mount adapter, but please note that it is optimized for the M-mount camera sensor and may not perform to its full potential on these cameras. A dedicated slotted bayonet-type metal hood (LH-13) is also available separately.
