• By using high-melting point, high-refractive glass that cannot be used in molded aspherical lenses, this lens achieves an F1 ultra-large aperture and a compact style while ensuring high performance.
• The adoption of a floating mechanism provides stable image quality from the shortest shooting distance to distant subjects.
• Focusing is manual focus only. A key feature is the silky smooth operation with grease-lubricated, high-precision metal helicoids that can withstand precise focusing even at the widest aperture.
• The aperture features 12 blades, rendering out-of-focus areas of point light sources with a pleasing shape.
• A dedicated metal lens hood that can be attached in reverse is included.
