By luxuriously and effectively utilizing two XLD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) lens elements, three LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, one GM (Glass-Molded) lens element, and one hybrid aspherical lens element, various aberrations, including axial chromatic aberration, are suppressed. This achieves high resolution across the entire zoom range.
The VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-high-speed Drive) linear motor focus mechanism is employed for AF drive. It combines high-level AF speed and accuracy, enabling stress-free and comfortable focusing from the minimum focusing distance to infinity.
