• Six lenses employ high-quality special glass with anomalous partial dispersion characteristics, achieving apochromatic correction that minimizes chromatic aberration, which is unusual for a wide-angle lens.
• A floating system is adopted in the optical system design to achieve high image quality at all shooting distances, demonstrating high resolving power even in close-up photography.
• The focus ring rotation angle is an extremely large 300°, allowing for precise focusing despite the short minimum focusing distance.
• Focusing is possible in conjunction with the camera's rangefinder from infinity to 70cm. For shooting distances from 70cm to 30cm, focusing is done while viewing the live view image on the LCD monitor, the external electronic viewfinder "Visoflex", or the app "Leica FOTOS".
