Product Features

• Newly developed 24-megapixel 35mm full-frame back-illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor, the "LEICA MAESTRO III" image processing engine, and a large 4GB buffer memory have been adopted. This allows for virtually unlimited continuous shooting at up to 9 frames/second.
• Continuous shooting in JPEG format can be continued indefinitely as long as there is free space on the memory card being used.
• Equipped with a multi-axis image stabilization function that corrects camera shake very efficiently by moving the image sensor in a direction that cancels out shake in response to camera movement. This provides a corrective effect even with lenses that do not have built-in image stabilization, such as Leica M-mount lenses.
• Also equipped with a "Multi Shot" function utilizing this sensor-shift image stabilization technology, which synthesizes 8 continuously shot images into one to generate a 96-megapixel image, four times the normal resolution.
• Body-integrated image stabilization, high sensitivity performance up to ISO 100000, and high-speed autofocus enable beautiful depiction regardless of lighting conditions.
• Supports tethered shooting with "Capture One 21," software for managing and editing RAW images, allowing remote operation of the "Leica SL2-S" from a computer.
• Features the same functions as the "Leica SL2" except for the image sensor, inheriting its excellent operability and high-definition EyeRes electronic viewfinder. Accessories are compatible with the "Leica SL2."
• The robust full-metal body features IP54-rated dust and moisture resistance, and like the SL2, it is a camera manufactured to the highest standards in Germany.
