When shooting portrait photos, you can capture a wider angle of view to include more of the background, and use the background bokeh created by the f/2.5 aperture to make the subject stand out.
Using the XCD 2.5/38V lens and stopping down the aperture allows you to utilize the lens shutter blades to generate a starburst effect with 8 rays, a signature feature of Hasselblad, on bright point light sources.
With a minimum focusing distance of just 30cm, this lens is ideal for still life photography, such as food or product shots.
Features a compact optical design, a small and lightweight focusing module, and an optimized lens shutter. Despite weighing only 350g, it delivers top-class optical performance.
