High point-image reproducibility is achieved even at a maximum aperture of 1.4, delivering clear and uniform images without flow from the center to the periphery of the screen.
• Allows for the attachment of front filters to this large-aperture ultra-wide-angle lens. Furthermore, it comes standard with a rear filter holder, expanding the expressive possibilities of this large-aperture ultra-wide-angle lens by allowing for the separate use or combined use of front and rear filters according to the shooting scene.
• The newly adopted "MFL Switch" allows you to concentrate on shooting without worrying about the focus ring being accidentally touched and shifting the focus position. Additionally, the lens barrel features a "Lens Heater Retainer" for properly attaching a lens heater to prevent condensation inside the lens when the temperature drops during night sky photography.
• The lens body features a dust and moisture resistant construction with sealing on the joints between parts and button areas. Furthermore, the front surface of the lens is treated with a water-repellent and anti-fouling coating, allowing for worry-free use even in shooting environments such as night sky photography.
