Employs a new optical design that uses two fluorite elements, effectively correcting residual chromatic aberration.
Image stabilization effect has been improved to approximately 4 stops, up from approximately 2 stops in previous models, in terms of shutter speed equivalence.
Thoroughly redesigned internal lens structure achieves high durability and robustness to withstand demanding professional use.
Equipped with a full-time manual focus mechanism that allows manual focusing while in AF mode.
By thoroughly reviewing the optical and mechanical configurations, a significant weight reduction of approximately 27% (approx. 1,440g) has been achieved compared to previous models.
