• Achieves high-speed continuous shooting of up to approx. 7.0 frames/sec with AF fixed/tracking during optical viewfinder shooting. In Live View shooting, high-speed continuous shooting of up to approx. 7.5 frames/sec with AF fixed and up to approx. 4.5 frames/sec with AF tracking is possible.
• "Dual Pixel CMOS AF", where each pixel serves both imaging and phase-difference AF functions, has evolved from the previous model "EOS Kiss X9i". In Live View shooting, when a compatible interchangeable lens is attached, it achieves an approx. 88% (horizontal) x approx. 100% (vertical) of the imaging surface for the AF area. When the AF area is manually selected, the focus position can be chosen from up to 3975 positions. Furthermore, with automatic AF area selection, high-speed and high-precision focusing is achieved with up to 143 AF points.
• In Live View shooting, "Eye AF" detects and focuses on the subject's pupils. It can also be used with Servo AF and Movie Servo AF, allowing comfortable shooting of moving subjects.
• You can enjoy shooting by switching between the power-efficient optical viewfinder and Live View, which allows you to check the image after shooting, according to your shooting style.
• Supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connection to mobile devices such as smartphones. By performing pairing settings once, the camera and smartphone can automatically connect via Bluetooth when in use.
• High operability is achieved with two electronic dials, a main electronic dial on the top and a sub-electronic dial on the back, allowing for quick setting changes while looking through the optical viewfinder.
