• Equipped with the newly developed back-illuminated approximately 40.2-megapixel "X-Trans CMOS 5 HR" sensor and an innovative image processing algorithm, it achieves the highest image quality in the "X Series" by improving resolution while maintaining a high S/N ratio.
• The pixel structure has been improved to capture more light efficiently. ISO125 can be used as a standard sensitivity, making it ideal for shooting outdoors in daylight or for creating bokeh effects with bright lenses.
• The new sensor enables more precise control of exposure time. The fastest electronic shutter speed has been extended by approximately 2.5 stops from the previous model's 1/32000 sec to 1/180000 sec.
• "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot," which allows shooting with 4x the resolution and faithful color reproduction, is featured for the first time in the "X Series." It can generate images of approximately 160 megapixels.
• Supports 8K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video recording for the first time in the "X Series." Adopting the same heat dissipation structure as the "X-H2S," it allows for approximately 160 minutes of 8K/30P video recording.
• Features subject detection AF developed using deep learning technology. It can detect animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains using AI. By automatically tracking the subject while maintaining focus, you can concentrate on capturing the moment and composition.
• Equipped with a 5-axis, up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilization system. This enables comfortable handheld shooting even in dark scenes like nightscapes.
• Features a dedicated video recording button and a 1.62-million-dot rear LCD monitor with a vari-angle structure that can be adjusted to any angle, enabling shooting exactly as intended.
• Equipped with dual slots compatible with CFexpress Type B cards and SD cards.
