It is possible to focus broadly on subjects with depth, or conversely, to create images that look like peering into a miniature world by extremely narrowing the plane of focus.
By loosening the lock on the lens barrel and tilting it, you can intentionally shift the optical axis of the lens and freely control the range of focus without relying on aperture adjustments.
The lens barrel can be tilted up to 8° left and right, and rotated 360°. This allows for a wide range of subjects to be accommodated while also ensuring freedom in composition. When the tilt mechanism is not in use, it can be used as a standard lens with an easy-to-handle angle of view.
The aperture ring and focus ring are compatible with follow focus for video shooting, making this a versatile lens for a wide range of applications.
