• The optical system is a modified Gauss type with a reference shooting magnification of infinity, employing a close-up correction system. This allows for excellent rendering performance from infinity to close-up shooting at 1/2 magnification, even at the widest aperture.
• With a bright F2.8 aperture, the viewfinder image is easy to see, making focusing effortless. The lens surfaces are effectively coated to prevent ghosting and flare, resulting in high-contrast image quality with excellent color reproduction.
• This compact and highly portable lens is ideal for close-up and reproduction photography. It can also be used for general photography such as landscapes and snapshots. By attaching the PK-13 extension ring or TC-201 teleconverter, close-up shooting up to 1:1 magnification is possible.
