• Partially stacked CMOS sensor with high-speed processing circuits stacked above and below the imaging element. Readout speed is approximately 3.5 times faster than the Z6II, enabling still photography at up to approximately 120 frames/sec, Full HD 240p video recording, and in-camera recording of 6K 60p N-RAW video.
• Inherited from the Z9 and Z8, the pre-capture function, available even at up to approximately 120 frames/sec (High-Speed Frame Capture+[C120]), allows you to beautifully capture fleeting moments that were previously missed, such as the instant a bird takes flight.
• The EVF is designed to provide a view close to a "Real-Live Viewfinder." The high-speed readout from the image sensor and the powerful processing capabilities of Nikon's EXPEED 7 image processing engine suppress repeated display and display lag in the viewfinder image.
• Greatly expands the possibilities for video production. Supports 12-bit N-RAW (up to 60p) and ProRes RAW (up to 30p) at 6K, and 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ (up to 30p) and H.265 (up to 60p) at 5.4K. All can be recorded internally. Flexible effects such as crop, zoom, track, and stabilization can be applied for 4K UHD TV broadcasting and 4K DCI film production.
• Supports H.265 at Full HD 240p, flexibly realizing 10x slow motion when editing on a 24p timeline.
• The EVF achieves a brightness of 4000 cd/m², approximately 4 times that of the Z6II and surpassing even the Z9, allowing you to clearly see the details of your subject even in extremely bright environments such as sunny beaches or snowfields.
• The EVF boasts a high resolution of 5.76 million dots. Nikon's superior viewfinder optical design minimizes distortion and chromatic aberration, allowing for sharp and detailed viewing from corner to corner. Subjects can be confirmed sharply not only during playback but also in live view.
• The latest EVF, compatible with a wide color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3, enriches the shooting experience. It can reproduce vibrant reds and deep greens, which tended to saturate in conventional EVFs, with rich gradation.
