It can detect the world's largest 9 types of subjects. When subject detection is set to Auto, all these subjects can be detected without changing settings.
• "Eye-AF" can now detect even smaller pupils than before. In situations where pupils or faces cannot be detected, such as from behind, it automatically detects the head or torso.
• The AF area mode features "3D-tracking" for the first time in a Nikon mirrorless camera, allowing continuous focus on a moving subject even in fast-paced scenes.
