Product Features

• A compact and lightweight super-telephoto zoom lens, ideal for shooting wild birds and wildlife. It is compatible with teleconverters, and when combined with the "M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 2x Teleconverter MC-20," it achieves an astonishing equivalent focal length of 1600mm.
• To suppress color bleeding, four ED lenses are used, along with two Super HR (Super High Refractive index) lenses and two HR (High Refractive index) lenses, realizing excellent descriptive performance with clear images even at the periphery across the entire zoom range.
• Features ZERO (Zuiko Extra low Reflection Optical) coating to reduce ghosting and flare, ensuring clear image quality even under adverse conditions such as backlighting.
• Achieves an exceptionally close minimum shooting distance of 1.3m across the entire zoom range, which is outstanding for a super-telephoto lens. • Equipped with a Focus Limit Switch for fast AF (autofocus) depending on subject distance. The AF drive range can be switched in three stages according to the shooting distance, allowing for quick focusing on subjects even in the super-telephoto range.
• The newly designed tripod collar allows for attachment and detachment of the collar even with the camera mounted on the lens. The lens foot has an easy-to-grip shape and is compatible with Arca-Swiss type clamps.
