• The TruePic X image processing engine and the approximately 20.37-megapixel back-illuminated stacked Live MOS sensor fully bring out the performance of the high-resolution M.ZUIKO DIGITAL lenses, achieving image quality that surpasses expectations for its sensor size.
• Equipped with an in-body 5-axis image stabilization system that corrects camera shake for all compatible lenses. Achieves up to 6.5 stops of correction in the center and 5.5 stops at the periphery. When combined with compatible lenses, it also supports Sync IS for even more powerful correction of up to 7.5 stops in the center and 6.5 stops at the periphery.
• Achieves dust and moisture resistance (IP53 protection rating) and -10°C low-temperature performance by strategically placing sealing materials on the magnesium alloy body.

• During color shooting, you can adjust the saturation of 12 divided colors in 11 steps each, allowing you to enjoy creating works with your preferred optimal color tones. Combining this with Highlight & Shadow Control further expands your expressive range.
• In monochrome shooting, you can combine color filter effects, Highlight & Shadow Control, shading effects, grain film effects, and toning to achieve detailed monochrome photographic expression.
• Features "Computational Photography" shooting functions that process composite images within the camera, which were previously achieved through post-processing using PCs or other devices. A new "CP (Computational Photography) button" has been added to easily access each computational photography shooting function.
• Achieves a compact video shooting system even when connecting external monitors or other equipment. It is resistant to heat during shooting and can record approximately 30 minutes of video at an ambient temperature of 40°C. You can shoot without worrying about thermal shutdown at an ambient temperature of 25°C.
• Newly equipped with a "Still/Movie/S&Q (Still/Movie/Slow & Quick) dial" and a "Creative dial" for versatile shooting. Additionally, new video-specific picture modes, OM-Cinema1/OM-Cinema2, have been prepared to easily capture cinematic footage.
