Product Features
Based on the "RICOH GR IV", which is a direct evolution of the GR series' core concepts of high image quality, quick response, and portability, this model newly incorporates a monochrome-exclusive image sensor.
By eliminating the need for color filters to acquire color information and interpolation processing for color image generation, the full performance of the high-performance GR lens is utilized, enabling delicate expressions and deep tonal gradations.
It features a built-in red filter for more impressive monochrome shooting, and with newly developed monochrome-exclusive image control, it offers a model capable of enjoying profound and diverse monochrome expressions.
To create a primitive world of black and white photography by unifying the overall color tone and texture, matte black is used for the magnesium alloy exterior, release button, and ring cap, with a design that suppresses gloss for a subdued hue, deep texture, and a smooth touch, allowing you to feel the special nature of this GR.
The front GR logo uses semi-gloss black, which differs in paint and gloss from the exterior. Furthermore, the power button light has been changed to white, expressing the monochrome worldview throughout.
