The use of five FLD glass elements, which have the same characteristics as fluorite, and their optimal arrangement effectively suppress the lateral chromatic aberration and axial chromatic aberration that are particularly problematic in ultra-wide-angle lenses.
• Enjoy uniform and sharp rendering from the center to the periphery of the image, as well as beautiful bokeh. In close-up shooting, it is possible to create a three-dimensional image by utilizing the background blur unique to F2.8. Since ghosting and flare are prone to occur when the sun enters the frame in ultra-wide-angle zooms, thorough countermeasures have been taken from the design stage.
