• An effective arrangement of 15 elements in 13 groups, including 3 LD (Low Dispersion) lenses, 2 composite aspherical lenses, and 1 GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens, efficiently suppresses various aberrations, including chromatic aberration.
• Achieves a well-balanced size when combined with a camera body. The full-length fixed inner zoom mechanism offers high barrel sealing, providing excellent dust and moisture resistance. Combined with its easy-to-handle size, it is active in adventurous scenes such as mountain climbing and outdoor activities.
• Employs a linear motor focus mechanism VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) for AF drive, achieving class-leading high-speed and high-precision AF. It is also ideal for still and video shooting in environments where quietness is required.
