"Starscape photography" is a method of capturing the vast starry sky along with mountains, cityscapes, or other scenery. When shooting dark night skies, long exposure times are necessary. However, if the camera is kept stationary, the stars will appear as streaks (fixed-position shooting). The "Star Adventurer Polarie" is a motorized camera mount that moves in sync with the apparent motion of the stars (Earth's rotation). By placing a camera on a tripod and using this mount, you can photograph stars as point-like images.
